A temporary filler that is used to fill the creases by the nose (from
the nose to the corner of the mouth), of wrinkles around the mouth and
to increase lip volume.

Tests for possible allergic reactions are not necessary.
There
are a lot of products based on hyaluronic acid with a variation in
density that will last for a variable length of time. The results do
not last for more than 5/6 months and one must remember that it cannot
be injected into areas that have already been treated with permanent or
long lasting semi-permanent fillers because of the risk of severe local
inflammatory reactions.
Following treatment
patients must avoid smoking, sunbathing, being exposed to high
temperatures and UVA lamps and massaging the injected area.
